KimHead Coach: Kim Ho [ e-Mail ]

Kim is new to Golden Bear Volleyball. She first started playing volleyball in middle school as a setter. Originally from Sacramento, she played in middle/high school and at Force Volleyball Club for over 8 years. She recently moved to Berkeley and wanted to get more involved in the volleyball community in the East Bay. She first began her volleyball career as a setter but primarily played as a libero and defensive specialist in high school. She coached for Force Volleyball Club in high school and her early years of college for 4 years on and off. She's helped host skills training clinics for new players through Force and other volleyball clubs. Her focus as a coach is to ensure her team will build the fundamental skills and techniques to grow as a volleyball player and person. She's a huge advocate for being a student-athlete because it helps build character and perspective - through focus on teamwork, communication, and living a balanced life as an athlete and student, all while still having fun at the same time.
